Pianist

Monica Cattarossi resides in Milan and works in the field of chamber music and accompaniment as a performer, chamber musician, and teacher. Invited to perform at the most important international festivals, she has given concerts in numerous prestigious venues both as a soloist and in duos with Julius Berger, Umberto Clerici, Enrico Dindo, Rocco Filippini, Antonio Meneses, Dora Schwarzberg, among others.
She has recorded the complete works of André Jolivet for two pianos together with Filippo Farinelli for the Brilliant Classics label, and with cellist Ettore Pagano for the Suonare News magazine.
She teaches chamber music at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan and piano accompaniment at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano. She has conducted master classes at the Sapporo Music University, Seoul Chamber Orchestra, and the Academy of Music in Gdansk. As a piano accompanist, she has collaborated with the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and currently with the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the Stauffer Center for Strings in Cremona. She holds a degree in Musicology.
