So says Antonella Uliana, Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Vittorio Veneto who continues saying: "Giorgini captures with the incisiveness of the sign, the freshness of the chromatic element and the choice of iconographic details, our desire to communicate a renewed, young and international competition. It is an original image, that can immediately be deciphered and that, thanks to the simplicity of the graphic layout, captures the attention by expressing what we wanted: the positivity of music ".
Alessandro “Ale” Giorgini from Vicenza started drawing as a child and has never stopped since. Today he works as an illustrator and has collaborated with brands such as Armani, Adidas, Barilla, Enel, Jeep, Puma, Martini, Disney, Warner Bros, Lavazza, Ferrero, Foot Locker, Emirates and has published his illustrations in The Hollywood Reporter, Le Monde, Boston Globe, Chicago Magazine, The Official Ferrari Magazine, Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Corriere della Sera, The Express. He has participated in exhibitions and events all over the world: from Tokyo to Paris, to New York, Los Angeles and Melbourne. He won the Chicago Museum of Design's Good Design Award (2017), was selected by the Society of Illustrators of New York (2015, 2017) and was nominated for the Boscarato Award at the TCBF (2016). From 2013 to 2018 he was president and artistic director of illustrious festivals. In the same years he was an illustration teacher at the IED (Turin), Bauer (Milan), IDEA Academy (Rome) and the International School of Comics (Padua). In 2017 he founded Magnifico, an agency that represents the work of some of the most important Italian illustrators.
The Violin Competition City of Vittorio Veneto Prosecco DOC International Award will take place at the Lorenzo Da Ponte Theater from Monday 27 September to Saturday 2 October 2021, the day dedicated to the final with the presence of the Orchestra of the Accademia della Scala of Milan.
On Sunday 26 September at 8.30 pm, there will also be an inaugural concert with an exceptional trio composed by the artistic director Francesco De Angelis on the violin, Monica Cattarossi on the piano and Enrico Dindo on the cello.
