He graduated in piano, choral music and choir conducting and composition from the conservatories of Trieste and Castelfranco Veneto; he also attended numerous seminars and training courses held by well-known musicians. He has been awarded in various national and international composition competitions (Cagliari, Trieste, Belveglio, Verona, Como, Messina, Rome, Pavia, Trento), choral elaboration competitions (Venice, Trieste, Trento) and polyphonic ones (Stresa, Adria, Treviso); he has received numerous commissions from festivals, institutions, associations and individual concert artists.

His compositions are mostly published (Bèrben, Suvini-Zerboni, Pizzicato, Pro Musica Studium, E.M.E., Rusty, Carrara) and some have been transmitted by RAI and recorded on CD (Rivo Alto, Colloquia, Velut Luna).

For 15 years he was the artistic coordinator of the National Choral Competition "Trofei Città di Vittorio Veneto" (and member of the Artistic Committee from 1994 to date), as well as the creator and art director of the Vittorio Veneto Permanent Workshop of Choral Processing and of the International Competition of composition for children "Sounds of fairy tale" of Sarmede / Vittorio Veneto.

For some editions - from 2006 to 2014 - he held the position of artistic coordinator of the biennial national violin competition "Premio Città di Vittorio Veneto" and of the collateral National Bow String Instruments Festival "Mario Benvenuti".

He was part of the Artistic Commission of the A.S.A.C. (Association for the Development of Choral Activities of Veneto) and collaborates with various bodies and associations for the organization of competitions, concerts, conferences and guides to listening. He has collaborated with newspapers and specialized magazines as a music critic.

He has been a teacher of music education in middle school since 1980 and school manager since 2004. He held the position of Regional Coordinator for musical activities of the Regional School Office for Veneto for six years.

He is a member of the control board for music and choral high schools set up in 2011 at the Ministry of Education, University and Research.

Since September 2013 he has been the school manager of the Liceo Statale "Marconi" in Conegliano (TV) where he set up a music section.
